Evan Patrick McCarthy was elected Ceann Fine of the MacCarthy Reagh after more than a decade of work restoring the clan’s histories and lineages, culminating in the first chiefship election in 271 years. A decorated military officer, scholar, and humanitarian, he combines fidelity to Gaelic tradition with active service to present-day communities, preserving Carbery’s heritage, aiding the vulnerable, and fostering a living Gaelic culture.

Oversees the clan's financial transactions and fundraising efforts, and is responsible for managing the clan's official communication resources, creating and implementing social media strategies, and identifying opportunities for public outreach.
Elizabeth has spent the last decade specializing in public ministry and youth outreach. Although working as an accountant, she is also currently a board member of the Dale House Project in Colorado Springs, which provides support to youth transitioning from locked facilities to the Dale House, where they reside and receive mentorship, academic support to complete their high school diploma or trade school, securing employment with local businesses, and giving young people life skills to thrive, all while providing a stable community sharing the Gospel Message with its residents.
