Yesterday, on 13 July, representatives of the MacCarthy Reagh Clan from Ireland, the U.S., Canada, and the U.K., convened on Zoom to discuss the possibility of an election for a Chief of the Name!

A fruitful meeting, with more to come in the future!

The group decided to hold an election for a new Chief in a year's time. The election will be hosted digitally, so members around the world can vote. The election window will begin on 13 August 2025 at midnight, Irish Standard Time, and run through the following 24 hours, closing at 11:59 pm IST on 13 August.
